Multimedium filters

Multimedium filter is the key equipment to filter particles, suspended solids, colloids and other substances, effectively lightening the load of rear-end equipments. This system sets 1 pressure type filter, with quartz sand filter materials packed inside and design the flow velocity on the capacity demand. When the pressure difference operated by the filter exceeds the rated value (0.1MPa), filter needs reverse washing to recover its filtering function. The reverse washing period is 3 days. While reverse washing, the reverse washing strength of water is 0.010 m³/(m².s). Every reverse washing time is properly 20～30min. The equipment itself equips with a set of maintenance manhole, a set of discharging hand hole, a set of stainless steel water and air distributor and an automatic vent valve.

Activated carbon filter is used to remove suspended matters and colloids in water, absorb organic matters and harmful matters in sour water and reduce COD content, making the residual chlorine of water outlet ＜0.1ppm, reaching RO inflow requirement.
